YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS YOUNG, WE USED TO GO TO THIS BBQ PLACE CALLED ERNIES. HE MADE A SLICED PORK BBQ SANDWICH THAT WAS WRAPPED IN PAPER THEN PUT INTO A PAPER BAG. IT WAS A VERY TASTY SANDWICH. WE WOULD SEND OUT FOR A FEW OF THESE FOR OUR EVENING MEAL FROM TIME TO TIME. THIS IS NOT A HOT SANDWICH, BUT ROOM TEMPERATURE. I HAVE BEEN PLANNING ON MAKING THESE FOR A LONG TIME. SO RECENTLY I BOUGHT AN ELECTRIC SMOKER AND EXPERIMENTED. THE SANDWICH HAS TURNED OUT BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. THE SANDWICH IS CONSTRUCTED ON CRUSTY CHICAGO ITALIAN HAND SLICED BREAD, PILED HIGH AND A HOMEMADE SWEET CAROLINA MUSTARD SAUCE IS ADDED TO WET IT DOWN SOME, BUT NOT TO SMOTHER IT.  TRY ONE OUT WITH A SHAKE, MALT OR ROOTBEER FLOAT. HEAVENLY LUNCH.
